Appointments

Consultation is by appointment only, however emergencies and urgent cases will triaged accordingly.

Existing patients of the practice can book appointments online via HotDoc. Simply click the link below or download the app onto your iPhone or Android phone.

New patients are asked to call the practice to book an appointment. If your appointment type is not found, please phone the surgery.

Monday to Friday 8.00am – 6.00pm
Saturday 8.30am – 12.00pm

Consultation Times

  • 15 minutes (routine)
  • 30 minutes for :
    • New patients
    • Obstetrics Shared Care
    • Women’s Health including cervical screening
    • Surgical procedures
    • Postnatal mother and baby checks
    • Complex or multiple problems
    • Counselling / mental health

Appointment times are generally 15 minutes. If you feel that more time is required, please advise the reception staff when telephoning and extra time will be arranged. Some consultations that will require extra time are a “complete check-up”, insurance and employment medical examinations, removal of skin lesions, updating immunisation status, complex or multiple problems.

Occasionally the doctors may be running late due to unforeseen problems or emergencies. If the delay is excessive the reception staff will try to contact you. If an interpreter service is required, we can organise this for you, please advise us when you make an appointment.

After hours medical attention

The practice offers an after-hours service. If you require urgent attention out of normal consulting hours, phone the surgery on (08) 8271 3985.

Home visits

We ask patients to make every effort to attend the surgery for consultations; however we will visit a patient at home if their condition prevents them from coming to the surgery and if they live within a reasonable distance from the surgery.
Please advise us as early in the day as possible if a visit is required.

 

Recall and reminder system

The practice is committed to preventive care and may issues you with a reminder notice from time to time, using SMS, HotDoc or by traditional letter, offering you preventive health services appropriate to your care. Examples of this might include screening tests, blood tests and immunisation reminders.

If you do not wish to be part of the recall and reminder system, or wish to update how you receive recalls and reminders, please speak with the reception staff.
