Appointment times are generally 15 minutes. If you feel that more time is required, please advise the reception staff when telephoning and extra time will be arranged. Some consultations that will require extra time are a “complete check-up”, insurance and employment medical examinations, removal of skin lesions and complex or multiple problems. Occasionally the doctors may be running late due to unforeseen problems or emergencies. If the delay is excessive the reception staff will try to contact you. If an interpreter service is required, we can organise this for you, please advise us when you make an appointment.
After hours medical attention
One of the doctors from our practice is always available after hours and on weekends on a roster basis. If you require urgent attention out of normal consulting hours please phone the surgery number 82713985 for information on which doctor is available and how they may be contacted.
We ask patients to make every effort to attend the surgery for consultations; however we will visit a patient at home if their condition prevents them from coming to the surgery and if they live within a reasonable distance from the surgery.
Please advise us as early in the day as possible if a visit is required.
Recall and reminder system
Our practice is committed to preventive care. We may issue you with a reminder notice from time to time offering you preventive health services appropriate to your care. (eg. Pap Smear reminders). If you do not wish to be part of this system, please let us know.
